Arts Consultant
Cathy consults on cultural policy and arts impact in formal and informal settings, from UK grassroots to international cross-nation programmes. Her diverse career has included international policy development, leadership of national music education initiatives and evaluative consultancy. She specialises in the development of public engagement arts programmes, music, learning and participation, strategic organisational and partnership development, and deepening of social impact.
Cathy is neurodivergent and has challenging lived experience, which gives rise to her innovation and leadership. She is passionate about inclusion, equity and accessibility.

Cathy is a Trustee for the UK Music Education Council and for Concerto Caledonia. She currently works both on an employed basis for University of Glasgow leading Music Development, and as a consultant in government, statutory and third sector organisations:
